Kate was about to answer when the singing stopped and she glanced in that direction, staring curiously. Then, not quite as far away, "Sweetheart? Where are you? I can hear you, please come out." She glanced toward the other two, her eyebrows drawn together. It was weird, definitely creepy, but it didn't sound like someone violent, which was what they'd warned her about.
