Kate snorted and rolled her eyes at that, then headed in that direction, still holding the pipe she had picked up earlier. There was another sound in the distance, someone laughing, and she shivered. This place had been creepy enough the first time around, but not with new residents it was even more unsettling.
"The last time I was down here the person I was with told me these people were basically drug addicts, but with shit that altered their genes or something," she said.
