Kate was prepared to roll her eyes and laugh at Reggie's comment when he asked his next question and the laughter died. "I don't know," she said honestly, because she really didn't want to, but she was glad Carla Jean had her gun all the same. "There wasn't anything moving around last time I was here and now..."
She trailed off, looking around for a map. Somewhere in the distance, she could hear someone singing. "Adonis Luxury Resorts," she read from a sign. "That sounds like the kind of place where rich people go, huh?"
