That gets a laugh out of Kate and she grins a little, rubbing one hand across her face. "Thanks," she says, knowing he probably knows what for, but needing to say it all anyway. "I mean, you know, for listening to me this time and for... letting me come to this shit on my own." It makes it a lot easier to accept when no one's trying to push it on her.
