Whatever had happened to these people -- because she was pretty sure they'd been people once -- wasn't even the worst of it. They were different, not quite like people anymore, but then they'd been killed and covered in plaster.
It was gross. And it made her sort of sad. It wasn't even real art, not the way her mom created things.
