"You were executed?" Kate repeated, suddenly turning against the window. The city itself was fascinating, but this was a little more important than whatever she was looking for down here. It shouldn't have been that surprising; she knew that all sorts of really shitty things happened to the people who were on the island now, but she didn't like to think about it all that much.
She especially didn't want to think about someone she liked being killed.
