"Well, I'm not allowed to even touch it yet," she answers, rolling her eyes. It's for the best, she knows that, the exasperation is really just for show. "Right now we're practicing like, crime scene techniques and stuff like that. He won't let me do anything with the real gun until I understand about when and where I need to get backup and how to not put my life in danger. Stuff like that. I guess it's all pretty important."
But she wants him to show her how to be safe with the gun. It just sits there in its box and it makes her sort of nervous.
