"Cool," she says simply, giving him another grin as the sound of the waterfall drifts toward them through the trees. She never remembers how loud it is until she's there again, listening to all that water pound down on the pool below and she wonders, not for the first time, if this isn't a really bad idea.
"That way you can drag my stupid ass out if I break my leg," she says, then laughs. "Shit. Is this totally stupid?" She's pretty sure Marshall would tell her that it's stupid, but he's not here to do that anymore. He's not here to be her voice of reason.
