"You sound like my mom's therapist alter," she answered, because it really was a little bit like Shoshana telling her that she hid behind her anger. Reaching up, she drew one hand through her hair, trying to work through the tangled curls as she tried to decide on an answer. For the most part, people didn't care how her mom being sick affected her or Marshall. And when they did, they tried to show it in some weird, fucked up way, like her grandparents.
