"You better not be taking me somewhere to kill and dismember me," Kate muttered, although she was pretty sure Jeff wasn't a serial killer and so she followed him along. She felt sort of stupid for having brought it up now, realizing just how much younger she was than Jeff. He probably didn't even think of her as anything more than a kid who was friends with Britta.
"Are we going to jump it out?" she asked when she saw the trampoline, turning to Jeff to look at him, her eyebrows lifted.
