"People just trust you because you're badass and can take care of yourself," Kate answered, though she really didn't have an issue with that. It was nice, people assuming she could take care of herself, too, even if it was only because she was with someone who could.

"If I tried to go down here alone, they'd laugh me right back up to the surface," she said. "Danny doesn't even let me touch my gun yet." And she wasn't sure when that would change, if ever.
