"Well, for what it's worth, I never thought that's why you lied," Kate said, avoiding telling him that, yeah, it seemed like Britta was pretty hurt. She felt bad, but that was between the two of them and she couldn't understand why anyone would deny knowing Britta, because as far as Kate was concerned, she was pretty much the coolest person on the island.
