All this time she'd sort of suspected that Miranda was from a completely different world, but hearing her talk about sprites sort of confirmed it. Given all the weird stuff on the island, she didn't disbelieve it either.

"Sprites?" she asked, not sure what else to say. A part of her wanted to know more; the part that loved dressing up and pretending to be Princess Valhalla. The other part of her wanted to seem like more of an adult.
